An Important Announcement to Clients

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the permanent closure of Texas Eye Prosthetics effective October , 2026. Serving as an ocularist for the last 40 years has genuinely been my dream job. However, I, Robin Dudash, will be retiring due to unforeseen circumstances that I must prioritize.

  1. NO new custom artificial eyes will be fabricated after September 25, 2026.
No modifications, resizing, re-processing or alterations of the eye will be made.
  2. Upcoming appointments: I will continue to see customers for routine cleaning, polishing and maintenance through early October, 2026. This will be the last day for direct customer care to ensure clients are safely fitted before we shut down.
  3. Future Care and Ocularist Referral: To assist you in finding a new board certified ocularist for your ongoing care you may wish to contact Soper Brothers and Associates at 713-521-1263. Alternatively, a full directory of board certified ocularists can be found through the American Society of Ocularists website at ocularist.org
  4. Administrative and Secure Moving Phase: The office will be closed to the public after October, 2026, while we complete necessary administrative duties. Your Medical Records are confidential and will be securely protected. You can reach me at Texaseyepros@gmail.com with any administrative questions.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your care journey. It has been an absolute privilege and honor of my life.

I wish you the best of luck, and you will be deeply missed.

Sincerely,

Robin N. Dudash, BCO, BADO
