About us

Robin Dudash, B.F.A, B.C.O, B.A.D.O.

Robin Dudash is a Board Certified Ocularist (BCO) and a Board Approved Diplomate (BADO) through the American Society of Ocularists. She is the proud founder and owner of Texas Eye Prosthetics, LLC .

While growing up, Robin most looked forward to going to art class in school. She especially enjoyed painting. Coincidently, her father lost his right eye as a child while playing with fire-crackers. Not knowing these two situations would determine a future life path, Ms. Dudash continued her passion for art at Texas State University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in 1983. While attending TSU her paintings and sculptures were shown in galleries and received several awards.

Shortly following college graduation, fate stepped in when Robin’s father lost his artificial eye while on a fishing trip. The result of having a new ocular prosthesis made, opened the door for Ms. Dudash to become enrolled in the professional training program sponsored by the American Society of Ocularists. Combining her love for painting , sculpture, problem solving and helping others, she found her life’s calling.

Following completion of the American Society of Ocularist’s (ASO) training program and receiving her Board Certification, Ms. Dudash has been an active member of the ASO. She has given numerous lectures, published several articles in the Journal of Ophthalmic Prosthetics, served on the ASO Education Committee and the Board of Directors.
